Workshops have been held to teach people how to make card beds. This is an ideal way of getting more made as they take some time. It's good to turn it into a team effort as people tend to enjoy working together and they can help each other out. Here are some of the workshops that have happened.

Impact Hub, Birmingham (11/15)

This was the venue where the project won the first Birmingham Soup. We had lots of volunteers and we made about 8 beds in 2 hours.

All Nation's, Wolverhampton

I did 3 workshops with this church group in July 2016 with lots of enthusiastic children and adults. We passed the beds onto the soup kitchen at the Methodist church.

Methodist church, Bristol

This was the first workshop in Bristol (Jan 2017) where I taught some volunteers to make the beds, which were then given out via the church's soup kitchen.

Uni. Birmingham (Feb 2017)

This was the second time I'd been here to teach students. We passed them onto Up4Giving, an outreach group to give out in the city.

GoodGym, Bristol

The GoodGym team do regular workshops where about 30 people come along and get a few beds made in about 45 minutes. We pass them onto Help Bristol's Homeless, who distribute them for us.
